Configuring the SolidWorks rendering options

The SolidWorks rendering options specify which drawings to render and to which format in the destination system.

To configure the SolidWorks rendering options:

In BlueCielo Application Manager, expand the name of the publishing job in the configuration tree that you want to configure.
Select the Configuration branch in the configuration tree. The job's configuration pages appear in the right pane.
Click the Rendition tab. The Rendition configuration page appears.
Select SolidWorks and click Options. The SolidWorks Render Options dialog box appears.
Click options or type values using the descriptions in the following table.

SolidWorks Rendering Options
Option	Description
File extensions	A semicolon-delimited (;) list of source file extensions to be rendered by this module. Each file extension selected enables corresponding options in the Output group to be configured. To modify the list: Click Change. The Input File Extensions dialog box appears. Select the file extensions that you want to be rendered by Autodesk Inventor. Click Close. The list is refreshed to show your selections.
Timeout	The number of seconds for the rendering module to wait for SolidWorks to complete rendering before the publishing job is stopped and the SolidWorks process terminated. A timeout can occur if there is a data error in the source document.
Run SolidWorks interactively	Shows the SolidWorks user interface during rendering for monitoring or troubleshooting. If cleared, SolidWorks runs invisibly in the background.
Output	Select an output format: Save as PDF, Print, or Publish as eDrawings.

Depending on the format selected for Output, continue selecting options using the descriptions in the following table.

Save as PDF output options
Option	Description
Drawing sheet range	Which drawing sheets to render. To render only a range of sheets, select Sheet(s) and then type the sheet numbers in From and To.
Export as 3D	Saves the model as a 3D PDF file.

Print output options
Option	Description
Print	Select printer name from the list of available software printers.
Orientation	Select an orientation from the list.
Drawing sheet range	Which drawing sheets to render. To render only a range of sheets, select Page(s) and then type the sheet numbers in From and To.
